Asian Cole Slaw
Ingredients:
- 1 medium sized cabbage
- 1 cup of shredded carrot
- 1 cucumber
- 1/4 cup of canola oil
- 1/4 cup of sesame oil
- 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- black sesame seeds
- 1 package of snack ramen noodles (not soup ramen)
- 4 green onions
Directions:
Salad
1. First, shred up cabbage.
2. Second,(make sure to cut of the ends of the cucumber first) cut cucumbers into three slices, then cut together vertically. Repeat steps until you have cut up the whole cucumber.
3. Next, cut up the green onions together
Dressing
- First, put in 1/4 cup of canola oil into a measuring cup. Then add in the 1/4 cup of sesame oil.
- Next, add 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of rice vinegar.
- Now start mixing with a fork the ingredients together.
- Sprinkle in 1/4 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
- Continue to mixing the dressing until the sugar, salt, and pepper has dissolved.
- Pour the 1/4 teaspoon
All Together
- Slowly pour the dressing into the salad.
- Next, start mixing the salad and dressing together, while sprinkling black sesame seeds all over the salad.
- Put in fridge for 2-4 hours.
- When you take the cole slaw out of the fridge, sprinkle the ramen snacks all over the salad, and then you can share with your family or friends!
